Christmas Art and Craft

The school is beautifully decorated with wonderful displays of  Christmas Arts and Crafts. 


5th Class News Update.

5th Class have had a super busy start to the year….. 

Firstly we began the year by going on an Autumn walk up to Lakelands 



Decorating our school for our 150th anniversary. 

We made some fantastic projects about the urban fox 



We also created these cool vests for our active flag police


We planted lovely daffodils around the school 

Look at our scary Halloween costumes….

WE were learning about the Great Famine 1845-1850 and we got to bake potatoes and make butter from scratch like they did many years ago

We took part in a cross country rung organised by Terenure which was super fun!!! We have been training everyday with our golden mile. 

Finally we decorated our classroom up for Christmas!! Hurry up Santa!!! 

Knitting and Crochet Club News

The knitting and Crochet Club have had a busy first term. Our first project was to knit a large number of squares which we used to make a colourful blanket celebrating our schools special 150th anniversary.imag0342

We put a border around the blanket in our school colours. The finished blanket can be seen in the display outside the computer room.


We have been busy knitting lots of other things also.


We have just put the finishing touches to our Christmas display which can be found outside the computer room


November/December Fitness Update

November and December have been very active months for us here in Presentation PS. As a whole school, we have focused on Gymnastics for the month of December. Check out the girls in action!








3rd- 6th classes competed in the Terenure College Primary Schools Cross Country Competition for the first time ever and we returned with many medals. Well done girls!!








We are loving our daily “Wake and Shake”.Drop Everything and Dance on a Friday really excites us 🙂 Keep an eye on twitter for our videos!
