Flag Ceremony

We had some very special visitors to our school today. Commandant Will Cummins and Sgt. Karen Walshe from the Air Corps along with Lieutenant Colonel Robert Hume from the Army came to present us with the Tricolour and a copy of the Proclamation. We had a special assembly in the hall.

Some of our pupils had relatives who fought in the 1916 Rising. They told us about their relatives and showed us some photographs and medals. We will fly our flag next year on March 15th which is Proclamation Day .
