Parents’ Association AGM

Parents’ Association AGM

Thursday 8th October at 8.00pm, PE Hall

The Parents’ Association Committee is delighted to announce that our speaker for this year will be Jennifer Ryan from

MyLife Solutions

Jennifer is the founder of MyLife Solutions, an award-winning life skills and assertiveness programme, and the talk will focus on empowering children to stand up to bullying.
Jennifer holds a BSc in psychology, a MSc in applied forensic psychology from the university of Leicester and post graduate diploma in guidance and counselling from DCU. She recently completed her training in conflict resolution and mediation.
Jennifer has many years experience in schools & universities and she has built a team of specialists at MyLife who are committed to the education of bullying and to restoring relationships and rebuilding individuals.
Jennifer believes bullying occurs when a lack of empathy meets with a lack of assertiveness and she is committed to providing help to young people, their families and schools on both these key life skills.

All welcome – we look forward to seeing you there.

Our School

Ms. Carney’s class are learning all about our school. We drew pictures of the oldest part of the building which was built in 1889.

Up The Dubs!

We had a blue day on Friday September 18th to celebrate our county team playing in the All Ireland final in Croke Park on Sunday September 20th. We wish the Boys in Blue the very best of luck in the match against Kerry. Come on the Dubs!

School Walk 2015

We all set off on our annual school walk today . We were lucky that it was a cloudy and dry day. The various class groups set off in different directions. The Junior Infants were thrilled to take part in their first ever school walk and the 6th classes were nostalgic on completing their final walk . We were lucky that the rain held off and we all returned to school before the heavens opened !
