4th class visit to Rathfarnham Castle
On Tuesday the 11th of June the 4th classes walked from the school to Rathfarnham Castle (a journey there and back of approx 4km!) where we were given a guided tour.
We saw a 200 hundred year old doll’s house, old wax dolls, rocking horses and beautiful dresses and clothes from the 1800s. We saw some beautiful Rococo ceilings and learned a lot about life in the 1800s.
After our visit we had a picnic lunch in the park and spent some time playing in the playground. We had a great day!
